A quick note on Julian Wolfreys and _Victorian Hauntings_

Morning, all! When I posted yesterday, I’d erroneously remembered that I’d discussed Julian Wolfrey’s _Victorian Hauntings_, a fascinating work of nineteenth-century criticism that shares a title with my blog. His theorization of nineteenth-century spectrality is very compelling, and I’d like to engage in much greater depth with his arguments here soon! I’m still collecting my own responses, though, so this is a placeholder post to acknowledge our shared title.

For anyone who’s interested in perusing Wolfrey’s arguments more directly, here’s the full bibliographic information for his book: Wolfreys, Julian. _Victorian Hauntings: Spectrality, Gothic, and the Uncanny and Literature._ New York: Palgrave, 2002.
